Sleeping four guests, Cheviot is our most popular 5 Star self-catering holiday cottage and it's also our personal favourite. Outside, the cottage boasts its own private south-facing garden, complete with red juicy apples in season, while inside you'll find gorgeous soft furnishings that complement the cottage's sophisticated country feel. It's an ideal choice of self-catering holiday cottage for a family of four wishing to visit Northumberland.

One of the original farm cottages in Branton village, Cheviot is all on the ground floor and is ideal for families. The swimming pool complex is only a short walk away, so you can be splashing around in the swimming pool with your children or relaxing in the hot tub with your loved one within minutes.

Overlooking the garden, Cheviot has a beautiful fully-equipped farmhouse-style dining kitchen that is perfect for a family supper. This leads into a cosy yet elegant sitting room, which has big comfortable sofas and an eye-catching old stone fireplace. Our guests especially enjoy the warmth and comfort of the wood-burning stove during the colder months.

There is one double bedroom with an en-suite shower and wc, one twin bedded room, and a main bathroom with bath and wc. The cottage is well equipped with all mod cons, including Sky television, a washing machine / tumble drier and a dishwasher.

Cheviot is luxurious, deceptively spacious like the TARDIS, and full of character. It is loved by all who come to stay in it and both families and couples choose to return year after year to stay in this attractive Northumbrian holiday cottage.
