By Car

If you are coming from the north, take the A697, which starts south of Edinburgh off the A68. The A697 runs through Coldstream and Wooler. Approximately 8 miles south of Wooler, turn right just as you reach Powburn, signposted Branton and Fawdon. Branton is just over a mile up the road and you'll find us at the top end of the village.

If you are coming from the south, turn off the A1 just north of Morpeth on to the A697, signposted Coldstream and Wooler. Come through Powburn and past the service station on your right. Take the next left, signposted Branton and Fawdon. Branton is just over a mile up the road and we are at the top end of the village.

By Train Or Coach

Alnmouth train station is only 15 miles from Branton. Both Newcastle rail and coach stations are approximately 40 miles from Branton. For more information on bus and rail times, please visit one of the following:
