You'll find us in the tiny farming hamlet of Branton on the edge of Northumberland National Park in one of Northumbria's most scenic valleys. Abounding with sites of archaeological interest, this is a wonderful area for walking and cycling. With a never-ending list of places to visit - including Alnmouth, Alnwick, Alnwick Castle and Garden, Bamburgh Castle, Belsay Castle, Chillingham Castle, Cragside, Craster, Dunstanburgh Castle, Newcastle, Rothbury, Seahouses, Wallington Hall and Warkworth Castle - scenery that takes your breath away, and a delightful range of wildlife right on your doorstep, we can offer you everything you could ever wish for in a self-catering cottage holiday in Northumberland.

Our self-catering holiday cottages were created from a range of early 19th century stone farm buildings surrounding a sheltered and attractive courtyard. Great care was taken to preserve the original character of the buildings, as well as to provide comfortable and relaxing self-catering holiday accommodation in every season of the year. Traditional country furnishings have been used throughout, and all cottages have modern well-equipped kitchens with electric oven (Aga in Hemmel House), microwave, washer-dryer, fridge freezer and dishwasher. Sky TV, wireless Internet for use with your own laptop, DVD player, CD radio, telephones and well-stocked bookshelves are standard in all cottages, as well as wood-burning stoves (imitation burner in Hay Loft) and oil-fired central heating. For the comfort of all of our guests, we operate a strict no-smoking policy in all cottages.

For those who simply want to relax and take it easy, our spa offers a beautiful heated indoor swimming pool with a luxurious hot tub, sauna, steam room, sun-shower and treatment room. For the more energetic guest, we provide an all-weather tennis court, football pitch, croquet lawn and putting green, as well as a well-equipped state-of-the-art fitness gym. Finally, our games room, complete with pool, table tennis and table football, promises to entertain all ages, while our trampoline is always a hit with the children.
