Millers Hill Hemmel House and Miller's Hill are our two newest and most luxurious cottages. They lie on their own in a stunning hillside location that looks west to the Cheviots. They are one miles as the crow flies and two miles by car from our main site in Branton, but guests are, of course, still entitled to use all of our leisure facilities there. Once an old farm steading, our two new cottages guarantee a holiday of pure luxury and tranquillity for any visitor.
The cottages are built round a garden courtyard, providing an idyllic spot in which to enjoy the sunshine. Children can amuse themselves playing on a tree-house climbing frame and mini pedal tractors. Each cottage has under floor heating and the kitchens are fitted a la mode with the latest high quality equipment. Both sitting rooms have wood burning stoves for cosy nights in during the winter months. We hope that guests will appreciate that we have made both cottages non smoking.
Millers Hill, all on the ground floor, has a sitting room with an open beamed ceiling, north and south facing windows and an arched door / window into the garden courtyard. The kitchen, besides a range cooker and dishwasher, also has a washing machine and tumble drier. The double bedroom has a five foot bed and an ensuite with walk-in shower. A further twin bedded room also has an ensuite with shower / wc, and the final bedroom has twin beds and is served by a bathroom with spa bath.
